In this blog post, I am going to share with you a little bit about the Sentier Des Cimes Laurentides I just visited. It’s an absolutely stunning panoramic observation tower near Mont Tremblant in Quebec.
What is Sentier Des Cimes Laurentides?
Sentier Des Cimes Laurentides translates to English as Laurentian Peaks Trail. This place used to be a fish farm in Saint-Faustin-Lac-CarrΓ©, but now it’s this fantastic ecotourism destination that’s perfect for families, seniors, and anyone who’s into nature.
So, there’s this trail that stretches for almost a kilometer, and it winds its way through the forest. It’s a pretty easy walk, and at the end of it, there’s this massive 40-meter-high observation tower.
The view from the tower is amazing β a full 360-degree panorama of the surrounding landscapes, with Mont-Blanc and Mont-Tremblant stealing the show. Below is a summary of its characteristics:
- Total length: 1,350 meters
- Tower height: 40 meters
- Walkway height: up to 18 meters
- Maximum slope: 6%
How much does the ticket cost?
The entrance to the park is free, but there is a charge to enter the observation tower.

This tower is actually an elevator that will whisk you up to the main trail, high above the treetops. Now, the choice is yours on how you want to ascend β you can take a stairway or opt for the convenience of the elevator.
